Anna Pavlovna Pavlova (1881−1931) — artiste de ballet russe, prima ballerina du Théâtre Mariinsky (Saint-Pétersbourg) de 1906 à 1913, l’une des plus grandes ballerines du XXe siècle. Après le début de la Première Guerre mondiale (1914), elle s’installe en Grande-Bretagne et effectue sans cesse des tournées avec sa troupe à travers le monde, se produisant dans plus de 40 pays et présentant pour la première fois l’art du ballet dans nombre d’entre eux.
